Kayaking

YESTERDAY, C. and I went to Barker Island in Wisconsin, just 10 miles away really. We rented an open sea kayak and paddled accross the channel to Canal Park. Happened to be near the Duluth Superior Sailing Association dock, so we stopped there. Three kids and an adult were learning sailing by using cute little sailboats. It looked a lot of fun and C. and I asked about membership dues and things. Costs $100+ for a season. Eeeek. Shall see.

Then C. and I crossed the channel again, this time with the wind on our back. So it was faster this time. That evening, my upper body muscles were on fire. Pain killer creams didn't help much. Feeling better today though.
